Sowing Learning Seeds
Manchester City Council’s Environmental Campaigns Team organised activities for year 3 children and parents at Sandilands primary School.
The youngsters planted sunflower seeds,put flowers in hanging baskets with the help of parents and made dancing bee finger puppets.
“The campaign team brought their trailer and supervised the fun afternoon of green workshops” said learning mentor Abida Ahmad.

Bell ringers from South Lancashire and Cheshire had a Sponsored Pearl at St Marys and All saints Church, Great Budworth, raisinf £1000 for Wythenshawe Hospital’s Ticker Club.
