Rising Star
Year 11 student Godwin Abadaki has attended Rochdale Football Club’s Centre of Excellence since the age of 14. He has also played for Manchester Schoolboys and now plays in the prestigious Greater Manchester squad. His hard work has paid off as Godwin has now been offered an apprenticeship with Rochdale starting in July 2010.

Personal Fitness Programme
Manchester United Foundation are to deliver a fitness/health programme for men eighteen years plus at the Wythenshawe Forum.
The 4 twelve week programmes will operate on a weekly basis on Tuesdays and Thursdays (2-4pm) and centre around a personal programme for each participant.

Referee Course
A new 11 a side basic referee course for over 13’s will commence on Thursday 17th December 7.30pm-9.45pm at Altrincham FC, Moss Lane.
Subsequent sessions will be held on Monday 4th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January, and the course continues with the written and theory examination evenings, Monday 25th January 2009.
