You’ve Been Framed

During 2009, the Life Libraries ‘Connect and Learn’ project at Forum Library trained 230 new customers from the Wythenshawe area in basic computing skills. Fifty customers also accessed the MAES basic computer courses also held in the library.

As part of the Family Learning Festival during October – Forum Library’s ICT Facilitators, Jane and Oliver, held a ‘You’ve been Framed’ event. It was attended by 25 children and 6 adults.

Families posed for photographs, which were then framed and laminated. Family Link worker Ann-Marie Smith also helped children make and decorate door signs, which included their photographs.

‘You’ve been Framed’ will run again as part of Forum Library’s February half term activities programme. If you would like further information please contact the library on 0161 237 3770.
