Helping Hands in the Park

A group of Year 11 students from Newall Green High School have been busy helping in the preparations for Spring in Wythenshawe Park.

They planted two large sacks of daffodil bulbs which will soon be brightening up the local environment.

As part of their 2 Year Diploma in Construction, it is hoped that they can help even further.  The park has a wildlife observation area that is in urgent need of renovation and improvements.

Along with making and erecting fencing, they plan to make and install bird feeders and nesting boxes, within which cameras can be installed for visitors to watch first-hand the wonders of nature!
