Haiti Earthquake Effort

3a3Staff at Parkway Green Housing Trust have helped raise £660 for the Haiti Earthquake appeal.

After seeing news coverage of the disaster, workers at the Wythenshawe based Housing Trust raised the money by holding two dress-down days and encouraging staff to make contributions which would be match funded by the trust.

The money will help rebuild lives in the Caribbean island which was hit by a devastating earthquake on January 12th 2010.

Parkway Green Chief Executive Nigel Wilson said “Staff really wanted to do their bit to help and it’s fantastic we’ve managed to raise so much in such a short space of time, and it’s a clear expression of staff’s commitment to such a worthy cause.”
