Outstanding Results
This term’s ABRSM exam results for pupils at the Tamara Lepp School of singing have been outstanding. Richard Filippi achieved a Distinction in his grade 5 theory exam with a score of 93%, Daniel Bell also achieved a Distinction in his grade 1 singing exam with a score of 139 out of 150.
Holly Mahon has been offered a place at the London School for Contemporary Music to commence in September 2010.
Other students have been auditioning for places at Pendleton College and various colleges and universities.
The end of term concert at the Larkhill Centre, Thorley Lane, Timperley went well. Students Chris Oatway, Henry Mills, Saffron Hulme, Holly Mahon, Graham Brindley, Angela Rose and Steve Hughes sang solos with a Christmas theme. Tamara Lepp and Carol Oatway sang the duet Little Donkey and Thomas Burroughs, aged 10, played several piano pieces.
Students of Tamara Lepp, known as the pop group League Liege sang and played guitar and performed one of their own compositions.
Now is a good time to enrol for next term if you enjoy singing but lack confidence. Private or shared lessons are available to suit all budgets. Tamara also runs a vocal workshop at the Larkhiill Centre, Thorley Lane, Timperley on Tuesdays at 7:45 until 8:45pm. Please ring 0161 969 7080 for further details.
