Giving Pupils a Fine Start To The Day
Construction company Seddon has provided The Willows Primary School in Woodhouse Park with a new kitchen area for the popular Breakfast Club that is attended by many of the school’s pupils.
Considered to be the most important meal of the day breakfast can often be a bit of a rush, especially for families who are trying to fit everything in before getting to work on time. For parents and at The Willows Primary School, the Breakfast Club is the ideal solution and it now benefits from the new kitchen facilities which have also been fully stocked by Seddon.
Says Donna Neild, Breakfast Club Co-ordinator said: “The club is hugely popular at our school but we have operated from a small wooden table for the past six years and we were starting to find it difficult to accommodate all the children. The new kitchen units mean we can organise things a lot better and ensure the children get the best possible start to the day.
“And to get the cupboards fully stocked with cereals and juice is a real bonus. We are all absolutely delighted with the result and the children would all like to thank the team from Seddons and Willow Park Housing for all they have done.”
Seddon is currently working in Wythenshawe carrying out extensive improvement works for Willow Park Housing Trust, replacing bathrooms and kitchens to homes in the Woodhouse Park and Moss Nook areas.
Contract Manager at Seddon, Martin Green said: “We have been working in the Wythenshawe for quite some time and heard about the needs of the breakfast club from Willow Park Housing Trust. As we are carrying out kitchen improvements in the area it was a pleasure to be able to provide and fit new units for the breakfast club area. And we couldn’t leave without making sure they were fully stocked!”
