Happy 90th Harold

Wythenshawe World’s record holding veteran swimmer Harold Dodd reaches the age of ninety next week. Former Eighth Army Soldier Harold, from Gladeside Road, Benchill, who has held many British European and World records, in his age category at a wide range of distances over the years, has now been forced to retire from swimming due to ill health.

Until last year he trained regularly at The Forum Pool, and has competed all over the country, and on the continent.
