The Bishop of Manchester

The Bishop of Manchester will visit St. Michaels and All Angles Church, Northern Moor, as part of ‘Run the Race’, his pilgrimage to all 335 churches in the Diocese of Manchester.

Bishop Nigel, whose journey encourages and supports parishes in their life and work, will take prayers at 4pm on Tuesday 29th September in the Orton Road Church, before Visiting Northenden campus, and senior church members at home.

A reception will be held in the church hall at 6pm when the bishop will meet invited guests including the Lord Mayor, local councilors, shop keepers and residents; and the Michaelmas day service will begin at 7pm.
