Inspector Robson brings with her a wealth of experience having worked in a number of different departments including CID, response and the drugs unit.

Inspector Debbie Robson said: “I am extremely pleased to be taking on the role of Inspector for the Northenden Neigbourhood Policing Team.  I am looking forward to meeting residents and tackling their local priorities to make Northenden, Brooklands and Baguley a safer place to live.

“Over the forthcoming months we will continue to work with Manchester Youth Contact Services to address disorder issues such as criminal damage connected to alcohol misuse.  We will also be tackling drug and alcohol misuse, working closely with our Youth Intervention Officer, with a particular focus around the Sale Circle area of Northenden.

“We will continue with the good work practised by our team in the area of Baguley, where residents have told us that they have noticed real improvements as a result of focused police patrolling and partnership engagement in the area.

“The Northenden Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be working with off licenses across the three wards to reduce sale of alcohol to minors in support of the Challenge 25 scheme, which will be launching later on this month.”

Officers will be asking for your input to influence the policing of your neighbourhoods, to ensure our service is focused on the needs of local communities, addressing the issues that matter most to people in Northenden, Brooklands and Baguley.  For more information, visit www.gmp.police.uk/policingpledge.
