Amateurs’ Awards

Their annual presentation evening approaches, the management of Wythenshawe AFC list last seasons achievements:

• Under 8s performed superbly at the JJB mini soccer festival, • Under 9s and Under 11s reached the semi finals of the Timperley & District League Cup, • Under 11s A won the T&D League Cup final at Trafford FC, • Under 13s won the T&D League Cup final at Altrincham FC (pictured), • Under 14s reached the final of the T&D League Cup and finished winners of their division to secure promotion, To top it all off the Wythenshawe AFC Seniors also won their Cup final last month

Wythenshawe Amateurs are expanding their teams for the 2009/10 season and require volunteers to help run this successful club. All managers will be fully equipped and trained with the club willing to pay for Level 1 FA training courses.

Wythenshawe Amateurs have started a new Saturday football club and are hoping it will attract new players.
Sessions for boys and girls aged from 5 to 16 years at Hollyhedge Park, Stancliffe Road, (10-12pm).
Sessions will be organised by an FA qualified coach with the usual child protection and first aid training, as well as FA CRB check.
