Transplant Team’s New Breakthrough

£4m For Specialist Centre

Funding will be provided for a ‘National Aspergillosis Centre’ at Wythenshawe Hospital from April 2009, the Department of Health has announced.  It will be the first national centre for aspergillosis in the world, and will form part of the NorthWest Lung Centre, which has a long history and international reputation for treating lung disorders.

Referee Course

A new 11 a side  basic referee course for over 13’s will commence on Thursday 11th December 7.30pm-9.45pm at Altrincham FC, Moss Lane.
Subsequent sessions will be held on Thursday 8th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th January, and the course continues with the written and theory examination evenings, Thursday 22nd January 2009.
