Ghouls, Ghosts and Gore Galore

Virgin Media employees in Wythenshawe transformed their office into a ghoulish grotto for Halloween.
Ghosts, witches and monsters at the contact centre were bobbing for apples, racing on broomstick, munching on scary treats and carving pumpkin. Money raised from the sale of ghoulish goodies will be donated to Lancasterian School in West Didsbury.
Employees also watched horror movies on Virgin Media’s TV on demand service during their lunch breaks and took part in a blood-curdling quiz. Prizes were awarded for the best-dressed ghoul, most frightening ghost stories and for producing the best cake or treat.
Alexa Collinson, customer care manager at Virgin Media, said: “We love celebrating Halloween here at Wythenshawe. Staff look forward to it for a long time as they get the chance to impress their friends and colleagues with their wacky outfits. With pumpkins, decorations and spookily-themed activities, it’s always a day to remember.”
Virgin Media employs more than 900 people at its Wythenshawe-based contact centre.
