Transplant Athletes Medal Haul
Fifteen talented Wythenshawe Hospital heart and lung transplant recipients achieved success at the National Transplant Games held in Sheffield.
The athletes, some of whom had their transplants as recently as 9 months ago came away with one gold, six silver and four bronze medals in sports including swimming, track and field, badminton and cricket.
