Kind and Queen of Dance

New World Street Dancing Champion Tom Malone met up with Wythenshawe’s own dancing queen, ‘Jazzy J’ (aka Janice Wilson) and shared a few moves in the corridor at WFM 97.2 radio station.  Proving she can still ‘cut it’ Janice showed 14-year-old Tom a few moves and gave him a few tips. 

Janice trains young people in dance in Wythenshawe and has invited Tom to her dance studio for a few more moves and dives.

Her ‘Jazzy J’ group were featured on TVs Jeremy Kyle show this week, after the production team and presenter carried out a five day makeover at Benchill’s UEW Gym, where she has a base. 

Tom beat off a challenge from 1500 rivals for his title and trains at the same dance studio as George Sampson, winner of Britain’s Got Talent.  His brother Paul is currently appearing in London in the play Billy Elliott as Michael.
