
Five students from Wythenshawe are on track to a brighter future, after successfully completing their first six months of a pioneering employment and training scheme. The programme, called PG Gateway, was launched by Procure Plus and Parkway Green Housing Trust, and is designed to give the young people practical, on-the-job experience.
The initiative sees the pupils from Newall Green High School, St Paul’s High School and Manchester Enterprise Academy spend three days per week during term time in school, and the remaining two days working with Parkway Green’s fencing team to carry out improvement works to local properties and community areas.
